problem during SyncCM

PilotManager seems to be working for everyone but me! I installed
and tried to run, syncing my calendar, and got the following errors:

Backup using pilot-xfer seems to work okay. Does it matter that I am
using pilotmgr with an original pilot 5000 (update 1.0.4), as opposed
to the new palm pilot?

I know *nothing* about perl, so any help appreciated. Thanks.

ps - I also noticed the ambiguous "next" warnings when running
PilotManager from the top level directory (as distributed). But they
*don't* appear when running in another dir, using a symlink back to the
installed scripts. Curious.
