(Don't you hate 'me too' posts?  :)

I stopped syncing my calendar because of this -- i found it
*too* useful to have all kinds of personal stuff in my Pilot
calendar, but sure didn't want them on my workstation.
Which of course locks me out of the most useful function
of Pilot Manager!
