solaris x86 binaries are available for perl5.003 on the web page.
at sun, solaris x86 perl 5.003 is available in
/usr/dist/pkgs/perl,v5.003
download pilotmanager, make sure the right perl is in your path
(so perl -v reports version 5.003) and run PilotManager
